What is covered

- Audience members can become Climate Neutral for the entire day of your show/event
at no cost to you.
Most emissions associated with events are the result of punters travelling to and from the venue. Food, drink and waste emissions also contribute significantly to the overall carbon footprint. The Climate Friendly Ticket helps cover these impacts and more through making each audience member a climate offsetter for the entire day of your event *.
The methodologies used to measure the emission offsetting are in line with the highest international standards. For $3.50 ** punters invest in international renewable energy projects to balance out their impact for the day of the show or event. The added benefit of using a Climate Friendly Ticket is that it demonstrates the process and benefits of carbon offsetting to a wide audience. It is an educational and meaningful way of creating significant greenhouse savings that costs you nothing.
There are two ticket options to consider:
- a. Climate Friendly fee built into ticket pricing This means that the cost of offsetting each punter’s CO2 emissions for the day is included in the ticket price. This option will achieve the greatest CO2 emissions reductions and entitles you to publicise on your website, advertisements, tickets, t-shirts and other mediums that each person attending your event is climate neutral for the entire day of the show.
- b. Voluntary Climate Friendly Ticket at point of sale (Opt In) This option provides the ticket buyer with the choice to offset their emissions for the day at the ticket point of sale. A separate line item is created via your on-line ticket service provider. The end result will be depend on the percentage uptake.

The contribution is invested in renewable energy projects (clean energy credits) that save the equivalent amount of CO2 as an Australian citizen emits per day. $3.50 (gst incl.) reflects the current cost of carbon credits and may be subject to fluctuation.
